The Black Hills National Forest, Hell Canyon Ranger District has a contract opportunity for a small business set-aside contract. The contract is for collection of common stand examination data and related work on approximately 1422 plots located within Custer county of South Dakota. Anticipated work will start in August/September 2008. Award of a firm fixed price, performance contract will be made to one qualified contractor based on a best value determination. The contractor will be required to furnish all necessary labor, supervision, transportation, equipment, materials, supplies and incidentals necessary to provide data collected through field investigations in accordance with the Common Stand Exam User Guide and Region specific Appendices. Contract time is estimated to be not more than 165 Calendar Days after issuance of notice to proceed. SOLICITATION WILL BE POSTED BY AUGUST 7, 2008.
