Natural Resources Canada has a requirement for:

- twenty-five (25) Reciever/Transmitters
High frequency (HF), C/W Soft padded carrying case. Transceivers
to be pre-programmed to frequency 4441 and 4472.5. Paracomm
PCX-250 model or equivalent and;

- twenty-five (25) Dipole antenna
For above transceiver. Cut to, frequency range of 4441 to
4472.5.

These items are to be used in remote regions in the High Arctic.
Portability of the transceiver is crucial since it is to be
carried as a back pack to isolated camps by research scientists.
The 10 watts Peak Envelope Power is the maximum allowed because
of power consumption.
