The work consists of dredging approximately 700,000 cubic yards of maintenance material using a shallow draft pipeline dredge; clearing removal, and disposal of tall grass, brush, and logs (including water-logged logs); and removal and disposal of miscellaneous debris that is within the new channel template. Estimated completion time is 150 calendar days.

Estimated solicitation issue date is on or about 07 August 2008. The estimated cost range for this project is between $1 million and $5 million. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this project is 237990. The Small Business Size Standard is $18.5 million and will be advertised, UNRESTRICTED. After solicitation issuance, contractors may register to be placed on a plan holders list, view and/or download this solicitation and all amendments at the following internet addresses:
