The NAVICP intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Northrop Grumman, Marine Logistics Support, for the acquisition of 7 each Float Shaft Assemblies. The contract is being negotiated under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1). The Government does not possess the data necessary to procure this item from sources other than the original equipment manufacturer. A formal solicitation will not be issued. Responsible sources with may identify their interest and capability to perform all or any portion of this requirement, in writing, no later than 30 days from date of publication of this synopsis to be considered by the government. Any firm believing they can meet the requirements stated above must provide documentation to include brochures and/or literature that show they can meet the requirements.
