Notice of Intent to award as a sole source requirement to PIERS Global Intelligence Solutions for a subscription to an internet web based database/publishing site for worldwide cargo import/export movements. Subscription to include 20 user IDs and the capability to sort information into report format. The database must include historical data as well as current ongoing data. This proposed simplified acquisition contract awad is for a subscription for which the government intents to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the auhority of 6.302-1. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit a proposal. This notice is not a requestfor competitive proposals, however, all proposals received by the closing date and time will be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Submission or questions are to be received by e-mail or facsimile only.
