PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS:
GAMMA SCINTILLATION DETECTOR, Nal(TI)

WE ARE SEEKING SOURCES TO PROVIDE THREE DIFFERENT SIZE CRYSTALS AS DESCRIBED BELOW:

2" x 4" x 16" CRYSTAL
Detector description: 2" x 4" x 16" Nal(TI) integral line. No voids in crystal
Photo-multiplier: 3.5" phototube with mu-metal shield, 14-pin 2" phenolic base, low background, and alignment tab set on centerline of 4" side
Overall Maximum Dimensions: D2.65" x W4.4" x L24"

2" x 4" x 4 CRYSTAL
Detector description: 2" x 4" x 4" Nal(TI) integral line. No voids in crystal
Photo-multiplier: 2" phototube with mu-metal shield, 14-pin 2" phenolic base, low background, and alignment tab set on centerline of 4" side
Overall Maximum Dimensions: D2.65" x W4.4" x L11"

1" x 1" dia. CRYSTAL
Detector description: 1" x 1" diameter Nal(TI) integral line. No voids in crystal
Photo-multiplier: 2" phototube with mu-metal shield, 14-pin 2" phenolic base, low background
Overall Maximum Dimensions: D2.65" x W4.4" x L7"

COMMON SPECIFICATIONS:

High-Voltage Bias on PMT: shall be positive
Photomultiplier tube (PMT) to detector housing: may be separable or sealed
Detector ID (p/n & s/n) Label: shall be located on same side of tube as alignment tab on phenolic base
Crystal housing: aluminum (minimum .032") or stainless steel; 95% efficient at 60 KeV. Aluminum is preferred.
Maximum Shock: 5 G's
Operating Temperature Range: -30 to +60 degrees C
Output signal (Gain): Using 137Cs: 5 milli-volts minimum and 50 milli-volts maximum into a 50 ohm load with 1000 VDC and 10 Meg-Ohm voltage divider
Resolution: 8.0% FWHM or better at 662 KeV (137Cs)
Note: Resolution shall be determined with 137Cs source centered on largest side face and with an accumulation of a minimum of 400k peak (ROI) counts.
