On or about 4 August 2008, this office will issue Invitations for Bid for construction of the RENOVATE DORM 211 project at MINOT AFB, NORTH DAKOTA. The solicitation will close on or about 3 September 2008.

This solicitation is RESTRICTED TO SMALL BUSINESS PARTICIPATION.

Site visits may be requested. Provisions in the solicitation documents will provide points of contact, access requirements and other pertinent information.

Project Description:

This is a Fully-Designed Project. The work consists of renovation of Dormitories 210 and 211. The work will include installation of ground source heat pumps, well field, ERV, individual HVAC for dorm rooms, and ventilation; repairs to existing finishes to match existing; controls to match existing, and other items to make for a complete and useable facility. General work will include the repair of the walls after demolition of the fin tube system and then the core drilling of the floors to install the vertical stacked modular system.


The estimated construction cost of this project is between $2,500,000 and $5,000,000.

Solicitation documents will be posted to the web via Federal Business Opportunities (www.fbo.gov). Registering is required to access solicitation documents.
