ASIC is seeking to select a conference venue in the Sydney CBD to provide conference facilities with onsite guest accommodation for the "ASIC Summer School 2009".  The conference venue is expected to be required for the duration of three days, being Monday 16 February 2009 to Wednesday 18 February 2009 with guest accommodation required from Sunday 15 February 2009 through to Wednesday 18 February 2009.  The conference venue will be required to offer a range of accommodation packages to meet attendees' requirements and ASIC will require these to be spread over the conference days, as well as offering a special conference rate a few days prior to and a few days post the conference.

1. The tenderer must provide a document addressing the Conditions for Participation as required by the Request for Tender.

2. The tenderer and any subcontractors proposed in the tender must not be named as not complying with the Equal Employment Opportunity for Women in the Workplace Act 1999 (Cth).

3.  The tenderer's proposed conference venue (including onsite guest accommodation) must have a rating of (5) stars provided by AAA Tourism or its equivalent.  Where the rating was not provided by AAA Tourism, the tenderer must demonstrate that the tenderer satisfies the AAA Tourism criteria for a five (5) star rating.
