The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Weather Service (NWS) has a requirement for the following: 50 each electrically chilled dewpoint hygrometers (referred to as "Snow White sensors") with data processing software, 50 each LMS-6 403 MHz radiosondes designed for use with the snow white sensors, 100 each Loran-C radiosondes in the NASA accurate temperature measuring (ATM) configuration, and 500 each large rod thermistors compatible with the NASA ATM configuration Loran-C radiosondes. Deliveries shall be made F.O.B. Destination to the NWS Sterling Field Support Center, 43741 Weather Service Road, Sterling, Virginia 20166. All deliveries shall be completed within 90 days after award. Request for Quotation (RFQ) DG133W-08-RQ-0814 will be issued on or about August 1, 2008 and will close on or about August 26, 2008. The RFQ will be posted on FedBizOpps. The anticipated award date is September 3, 2008. The Government may make more than one award. One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to Free Trade Agreements. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by NOAA.
