INVITATION TO APPLY FOR ELIGIBILITY AND TO BID
The Mactan-Cebu International Airport Authority (MCIAA), through its Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), invites suppliers/contractors to apply for eligibility and to bid for the hereunder project:

Name of Project : SUPPLY OF 3 UNITS AIRPORT POLICE PATROL VEHICLE
Location : Mactan-Cebu International Airport, Lapulapu City, Cebu 6016
Brief Description : To supply and deliver three (3) units Airport Police Patrol Vehicle
Double cab pick-up 4X2 (brand new) with complete Police Accessories, multi usage for airport operations. One unit with
Provision for "FOLLOW ME" vehicle.
Approved Budget Cost : PHP 3, 900,000.00
Delivery Period : 45 calendar days

Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using non-discretionary pass/fail criteria as specified in the Implementing Rules and Regulations Part A (IRR-A) of Republic Act 9184 (R.A. 9184), otherwise known as the "Government Procurement Reform Act," and is restricted to Filipino citizens/sole proprietorships, organizations with at least sixty percent (60%) interest or outstanding capital stock belonging to citizens of the Philippines, and to citizens or organizations of a country the laws or regulations of which grant similar rights or privileges to Filipino citizens, pursuant to Republic Act 5183 (R.A. 5183) and subject to Commonwealth Act 138 (C.A. 138).

All particulars relative to Eligibility Statement and Screening, Bid Security, Performance Security, Pre-Bidding Conference(s), Evaluation of Bids, Post-Qualification and Award of Contract shall be governed by the pertinent provisions of R.A. 9184 and its Implementing Rules and Regulation (IRR). The complete schedule of activities is listed, as follows:

1. Issuance of Bidding Documents July 15, 2008
2. Pre-Bid Conference August 1, 2008 at 2:00 P.M.
3. Deadline for Submission and Opening of Bids Aug. 14, 2008 at 2:00 P.M.

Bid Documents will be available only to prospective bidders upon payment of a non-refundable amount of Php 2,000.00 to the MCIAA Cashier.

The MCIAA reserves the right to accept or reject any Bid, to annul the bidding process, and to reject all Bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected Bidder or Bidders.
