The work consists of boring and jacking 1- 42 inch diameter reinforced concrete pipe within a steel liner and grouting between both; concrete pipe will have preformed inlet and cast-in-place concrete outlet structure with flapgates; outlet structure excavation, inlet and outlet channel excavation; placement of structural backfill, filter material and riprap; removal of existing culvert inlet and outlet structure; grouting existing culvert and environmental protection. The estimated cost of the proposed work is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. There will be eleven (11) drawings. This is an UNRESTRICTED procurement; all responsible sources may submit an offer. When applicable, Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clause 52.219-4, entitled Price Evaluation Preference for HubZone Small Business Concerns, will be applied to this procurement. For the purpose of this procurement to qualify as a small business concern, in addition to being independently owned and operated and not dominate in the field of operation in which it is bidding on Government contracts, the concern must have had average annual sales receipts for the preceding three fiscal years not exceeding $31.0 million. The supplies or services to be procured in this solicitation are classified under NAICS code 237990. Solicitation will be issued on or about 05 August 2008 and bid opening date will be on or about 04 September 08.
