This project is located on the Western Divide Ranger District on the Sequoia National Forest. Work includes, but is not limited to rehabilitation and upgrade of all roadway drainage and drainage structures (ditches, ditch relief culverts, over-side drains, and rolling dips), install riprap, metal end sections lowering road grade over culverts, install relief pipes, extend inlets and remove sediment and debris and recondtion and place aggregate surfacing approximately 4.3 miles of FS Road 22S10 South Creek Road on the Sequoia National Forest. Bonding will be required. The price range of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The estimated contract time is 200 calendar days. Estimated start work date is September 15, 2008. (Project site is normally accessible year round, but is not guaranteed). A pre-bid tour will not be conducted, offerors are encouraged to visit the site on their own. Issue date is approximately July 29, 2008 with a closing date of aproximately Auguest 28, 2008. This acquisition is a total small business set aside.
