The contractor shall provide for the examination, preventative maintenance, and emergency repair service of the Telescoping Mast Service Platform System (TMSP) at McChord AFB. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform contracted services, unless specified as provided by the Government. Maintenance of the TMSP shall include, but is not limited to, ensuring 100% operational capability of the facility at the facility at all times. This synopsis is a request for proposal and is issued as a 100% small business set-aside under the Standard Industrial Classification code 7699, NAICS code 811310, and the related Small Business Standard - $6.5M. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26. The proposed performance period is a Base Period from 1 October 2008 to 30 September 2011, and two one-year options. All potential sources must obtain a DUNS number and register in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) in order to transact business with the government. Failure to obtain a DUNS number and register in the CCR may result in delay of award of a contract or possible award to the next otherwise successful offeror who is registered in the CCR at the time of award. Offers will be evaluated on price alone. Award will be made to the offeror with the lowest price, offering the best value to the government. Solicitation will be issued on or about 22 July 2008. The purpose of this amendment is to attach the Operations Manual that was missing in the solicitation SF1449 and to correct the response date to reflect the solicitation SF1449.

The purpose of this amendment is to extend the offer due date to 4:00PM PST on 22 August 2008.  It is also to notify all potential offerors of a site visit that will be held on 18 August 2008 at McChord AFB, WA.  All attendees shall be at the McChord AFB front gate by 8:30AM on 18 August 2008.
