NAICS Code: 541712 BACKGOUND: NAICS Code: 541712 The US EPA, OTAQ and ORD, intends to award a sole-source purchase order using FAR 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures to Coordinating Research Council (CRC). As a result of this event EPA will purchase electronic copies of all presentations, and a copy of any journal articles presented at the workshop, and a copy of the prepared workshop proceedings The CRC mobile air toxics workshop is the only event of its kind that brings together many experts from around the world from industry, academia, research organizations, and government entities (Federal, State, and Local government entities) involved in the study of emissions characterization and air quality modeling of air toxic emissions from mobile sources. The CRC workshop is also the only event to offer such a wide range of topics directly related to the work that EPA OTAQ and ORD do. The Participation of experts from around the world in the topics mentioned above provides EPA with a unique opportunity for the sharing and the discussion of new ideas, research methods, and technology to further the goal of improving EPA regulatory programs resulting in air quality improvements. The data compiled from this workshop will serve as an evaluation tool for EPA Mobile source regulations for air toxics. CRC is the only organization of its kind in the country that acts as a national hub for conducting and coordinating research involving mobile source emissions including that on air toxic emissions. . NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE. Notwithstanding, any firm who believes it is capable of meeting EPA's requirement as stated herein may submit a response, which if received within 10 calendar days of the date of this announcement will be considered. Responses to this posting must be in writing. A determination not to compete the proposed Purchase Order based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
