Sealed tenders on B-1/ B-2 forms are invited from the interested firms/ contractors, who are registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) under PPRA Rules 2004 for the year 2008, to carry out the following works: -
(a) Blank tender documents can be obtained from the office of the undersigned up to 28.07.2008 on any working day on payment of tender fee specified against each work.
(b) Tender documents for the works of Category-A-No Limit will be issued on production of certificate or DR or Pakistan Engineering Council for the year 2008, attested copy of Computerized National Identity Card of proprietor of the firm.
(c) Tender will be received back in sealed tender box on 30.07.2008 up to 2.00 p.m. and will be opened by the Committee Members of SSIC, on the same day in the office of the undersigned in presence of contractors or their representatives who wish to remain there.
(d) Earnest Money in the shape of Call Deposit in favour of “Engineering Cell, SSIC, Head Office, Karachi” must accompany the application for issuing tender, otherwise tenders will not be issued. Earnest Money will not be refunded unless the final decision is made.
(e) Conditional/ telegraphic tender will not be entertained.
(f) No grace period will be allowed and no tender will be accepted after 2:00 p.m. Contractors are requested to be careful for timing.
(g) The Corporation reserves the right to accept or reject any one or all tenders without assigning reason thereof.
