Tenders are invited by Chairman, Procurement Board, Chief Engineering and Construction Service, Uva Provincial Council for completing the following weeks of Ministries and Departments of Uva Provincial Council from Contractors who are qualified and registered with Institute of Construction Ttaining and Development, (ICTAD).
Tender forms could be obtained on payment of refundable and non-refundable tender fee for works mentioned in the above table to the relevant Regional Engineer Offices from 08 July 2008 to 28 July 2008 from 9.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. A Bank Security according to the form approved by this institute valid for 120 days obtained form a commercial bank approved by Central Bank of Sri Lanka for double the amount of refundable tender amount may be submitted instead of refundable tender amount. Duly perfected tender forms in duplicate should be submitted to the relevant Procurement Committee at or before 2.00 p.m. on 30 July 2008. The two copies enclosed in two separate envelopes marked original copy / duplicate copy should be enclosed and sealed in one envelope top left corner of which is marked with the relevant work to be sent either by registered post addressed to Deputy Chief Secretary (Engineering Services), Chief Engineering and Construction Service, Pinarawa, Badulla or deposited in the Tender Box kept at this office. Tenders will be opened on the same day at the same office at 2.00 p.m. and the tenderer or an authorized representative of his could be present for the occasion.
Incomplete tenders submitted will be rejected and the decision to the Chairman, Tender Board will be final.
