Auction of tenancy rights of shops on premium will be held on 21-07-2008 at 11:00 a.m. in the office of the Karachi Cantonment Board at 259, Sarwar Shaheed Road, Karachi. In case of inappropriate response, the auction will be held again on 22nd and 23rd July, 2008 at the same venue and time and a separate notice will not be issued for this purpose Details are as under:
Interested parties can participate in the auction conforming to the conditions mentioned below: -
(1) Initial period will be for five (05) years, during which there wd be no rent increase.
(2) The tenancy will be renewable after that for a term of three (03) years, on suitable increase by the Karachi Cantonment Board.
(3) The bid of tenancy rights shall be on the basis of premium of each shop separately.
(4) Rent of each shop is fixed @ Rs.20/- per Sq. Ft. per month.
(5) The bidder will have to deposit Rs.3,00,000/- in the shape of Pay Order in favour of Cantonment Executive Officer, Karachi Cantonment, before participating in the auction, which will be refunded except to the highest and the second highest bidders.
(6) The successful bidders will have to deposit 25% of the total amount of premium the same day, the remaining amount will have to be deposited within 15 days of the approval of the Board failing which the deposited 25% amount will be forfeited in favour of Cantonment Board Karachi.
Terms and conditions of auction, which will form part of the Tenancy Agreement, can be obtained on payment of Rs.100/- from the office of Karachi Cantonment Board on any working day during the office hours.
