Correctional Service Canada requires the professional services
of a contractor to provide Orthopedic Services. The contractor
must conduct orthopedic clinics every six (6) to (8) weeks (up
to a yearly maximum of 9 clinics), between the hours of 0800 to
1600 hours, and must also provide all other services listed in
the Statement of Work. The services must be provided on site at
the Shepody Healing Center and Westmorland Institution,
Correctional Service Canada, Dorchester, New Brunswick, during
the period from 01 August 2008, or date of award, to 31 July
2009, with options available to extend the period of the
contract for up to 2 periods of 1 year each.

At bid closing, the contractor's proposal must be supported by
proper and adequate detail to demonstrate meeting the following
mandatory requirements:

-proposed personnel must be registered with the Royal College of
Physicians and Surgeons of Canada;
-proposed personnel must be registered with the College of
Physicians and Surgeons of New Brunswick;
-proposed personnel must possess at the time of solicitation
closing, and maintain throughout the contract period, his/her
privilege to practice at the Moncton Hospital (Southeast
Regional Health Authority).

This requirement contains a security clearance.

This PWGSC office provides procurement services to the public in
both official languages.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
