This soil boring program requires the rental of a floating plant and a small skid frame geotechnical-drilling rig, similar to D-25 that has hollow stem capability with at least 2500 foot pounds spindle torque and can be placed on a shallow draft floating plant. The sample holes will be up to 60 feet in depth. The purpose of these borings is to gain geotechnical data at the City of Devils Lake, North Dakota. The solicitation and scope of work will be on www.fbo.gov on or around 11 July 2008. This solicitation is issued 'unrestricted'.
