Work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials, equipment and performing all work in strict accordance with those specifications, schedules and drawings forming parts thereof, for the repair/replacement of Elevators #1, #2, #3, and #4. Work is to include: Penthouse: All four elevators are in a single consolidated machine room accessible from inside the building. Provide new microprocessor based elevator controllers, new A.C. variable voltage, variable frequency drive, refurbish other existing elevator equipment, new air conditioning, perform associated electrical work, and smoke extraction ductwork. Elevator Cars: Refurbish four elevator cars, new ceilings, walls and flooring finishes. Each Floor: Provide new hall buttons, car position indicators, hall lanterns, and refinish elevator doors. Electrical: Provide associated electrical wiring as shown on drawings. Provide fire alarm tie-ins. Maintenance: Provide full preventative maintenance service for 12 months during warranty period. The work shall be performed by an elevator contractor who has five or more years experience installing and servicing similar elevator installations and has installed at least 10 completed and accepted elevator systems of similar size, scope, logic control, and motion control required by this contract. All work is to be accomplished in strict accordance with applicable NGA (NIMA), EPA, NFPA, and OSHA requirements. The performance period for this project is 488 calendar days. The approximate cost of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Currently this project is Subject to the Availability of Funds(SAF). The NAICS code for this project is 238290, size standard $13.0M. This project is 100 percent set-aside for small business. This work is located at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency facilities at 3200 South Second Street, St. Louis, Missouri 63118.
