The California Institute of Technologys (Caltech) Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL),operating under a prime contract with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration(NASA), invites interested proposers to participate in a competitive procurement forOptical Design and Analysis. The Laboratory is funded by NASA and subcontracts under aNASA prime contract with Caltech.PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The anticipated period of performance for such services would befrom October 31, 2008 through September 28, 2013.REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL: It is anticipated that the RFP for Optical Design and Analysis willbe released the week of July 14, 2008. Youare notified that the following changes are made:The NAICS code has been changed to 541330 - Engineering Services ($4.5M) to betterreflect the effort. The due date for responses is extended to 7/25/08. The due date for the RFP is notextended.Documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. Thesedocuments will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWWbrowser application.
