FISCSD Regional Contracts Department hereby announces its intent to issue an order to General Electric Company-GE Aviation, cage: 07482 for the testing of a US Navy owned LM2500 gas generator under BOA FA8104-05-G-0004. This requirement is conducted under FAR 6.302-1 Only One Responsible Source, and 10 USC, 2304(c)(1). The testing will be performed at the GE facility in Cincinnati, OH. Inspection and acceptance will be performed at Origin by the Government. The order will be placed in accordance with procedures outlined in FAR 16.7. The anticipated period of performance will take place in October 2008. Contact the FISCSD representative with any questions. See numbered note 22.
