Services Non-Personal:

The Air Force intends to make an award on a competitive basic for the following service: The Contractor shall provide media monitoring services that can bring together media information, news coverage, press calls, contact management, and reporting into a single user-friendly system. The service shall provide updated daily media contact information as well as real-time news capture of coverage on any topic with unlimited word-search capability. Graphical reporting functions shall show results in pie charts, graphs and other formats that are easy to manipulate and are tied directly to capture results. The primary tool shall be a web-based platform for the monitoring of national and international print and web-based news items as well as web-based contact management.

The successful contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, and tools to perform the work in accordance with the Performance Work Statement.

The solicitation, FA2517-08-R-6010, will be available on or about 18 July 2008.

The solicitation will be distributed solely through the Federal Business Opportunity (FBO) web site http://www.fbo.gov/. This requirement will be accessible to those companies deemed eligible by the information they provided when they register with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) web site http://www.ccr.gov/ and the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) web site http://bpn.gov/.

The period of performance will consist of one base-year and four one-year options, not to exceed a total of five years.

Price and past performance are the only evaluation factors for contract award. Past Performance is approximately equal to price; however, as proposals become more equal in terms of past performance, price may become more important.
