II.1.5) Short description of the contract or purchase(s): Refurbishment
of kitchens, bathrooms, heating, electrics and front entrance doors as
applicable in Council properties to meet Decent Homes standards. It is
anticipated that Call-Off Contracts under the Framework Agreement will be
let on a geographical basis with the scope and value dependent upon the
anticipated programme of works. The procedure for this will be set out in
the tender documentation. There are approximately 4 500 Council properties
and it is estimated that around 900 of these will require works for each
of the 4 years. The initial Call-off Contracts are anticipated to commence
on 1.4.2009.

III.2.1) Personal situation of economic operators, including requirements
relating to enrolment on professional or trade registers: Information and
formalities necessary for evaluating if requirements are met: All
applicants are required to complete a Pre-Qualifying Questionnaire (PQQ)
consistent with the provisions of Directive 93/37/EEC. The Questionnaire
is available from the address in I.1 above and must be returned to the
same address by the date specified in Section IV.3.4. In addition, a
Bidders Conference will be held at the offices of Davis Langdon LLP,
MidCity Place, 71 High Holborn, London WC1V 6QS on 29.7.2008 at 18.00
hours (6.00 p.m.). The purpose of the meeting is for the London Borough of
Redbridge and Redbridge Homes to outline the proposal and to provide the
opportunity for any potential bidders to ask questions. Fuller details
will be given to bidders on application.

financially assessed to ascertain that they have the financial capability
