The project consists of continuing construction of approximately 520 feet in length with options to extend 50 feet per option to a total of approximately 1420 feet of a levee walkway on the riverside crown of the main line levee. The levee walkway shall include standard interlocking concrete pave stone, retaining wall, terraces, observation and parking nodes, light fixtures and metal guardrails and handrails which shall match existing items. There are thirty three (33) sheets in the set of drawings. This project will be a HubZone Set-aside procurement. For the purpose of this procurement to qualify as a small business concern, in addition to being independently owned and operated and not dominate in the field of operation in which it is bidding on Government contracts, the concern must have had average annual receipts for the preceding three fiscal years not exceeding $31.0 million. The supplies or services to be procured in this solicitation are classified under NAICS code 237990. The estimated cost of the proposed work is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. Solicitation will issue on/about 22 July 2008 and bid opening will be on/about 22 August 2008.
