The Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ), Edinburg, TX has a requirement for Gypsy Moth (+) Disparlure pheromone to support their program. A firm fixed price commercial supply contract is anticipated for this procurement. The Government anticipates the need for approximately 300 grams of Disparlure. The contract will include a base period with the option to extend the contract for an additional four (4) years. FOB Destination. The solicitation, AG-6395-S-08-0097, will be released at this website on or about July 22, 2008 and will be a 100% small business set-aside, therefore, all responsible small businesses may submit an offer. The NAICS code is 325320 with a size standard of 500 employees. After release, one may download a copy of this solicitation at this site. A single award is anticipated. The solicitation, # AG-6395-S-08-00975, is to be affixed to all documents submitted in reference to this requirement. Telephone requests will not be accepted. Proposals shall be submitted to the contracting activity by the date and time indicated in the Request for Proposal (RFP). Paper copies of the RFP and/or amendments will not be issued. The solicitation and the specifications will be made available electronically at this website only.
