NUMBER T8200-7-7503/A DATED OCTOBER 22ND, 2007 WHICH WAS DUE AT
02H00 P.M. ON NOVEMBER 19TH, 2007.


Research and Countermeasures to reduce suicides on railway
right-of-way

On behalf of Transport Canada, Transportation Development
Centre, Public Works and Government Services Canada intend to
award a contract in research and development for Research and
Countermeasures to reduce suicides on Railway Rights-of-way as
per the Annex «A» and the Attachment 1 attached with the request
for proposal. The period of contract will be from the date of
issue for a period of four years and a half (4 1/2).

Contractor Selection:

Your technical and management proposal will be evaluated and
scored in accordance with the Annex «C» entitled «Evaluation
Criteria» attached with the Request for Proposal (RFP).

a) Subject to the Evaluation Criteria indicated in Annex
«C»-Evaluation Criteria, the responsive bid with with the
highest technical merit for a budget of $382,000.00 will be
recommanded for award of contract.

b) To be considered responsive, a bid must meet all the
mandatory requirements of the bid solicitation and must obtain a
minimum score of 80% overall and 70% within each of the group of
criteria specified in the request for proposal and which are
used in the rating process.




This PWGSC office provides acquisition services to the public in
both official languages



Delivery Date: Above-mentioned

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.

Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
