8.0    Requirements/Specifications

. DOSE MEASUREMENT PACKAGE with the following specifications (or equivalent to):
X-ray radiation dose are separated into film and ion-chamber measurements. The 0.6 cc ionization chamber and the electrometer must be approved by the National Research Council for absolute radiation dose measurements. This system will be cross-calibrated with the “local standard” maintained at the London Regional Cancer Program that is periodically calibrated by National Research Council.

•    Measurements with film:
o    50 sheets of GAFCHROMIC XR-RV2 films
o    Gafchromic film scanner system
    Film Digitizer
•    Light emitting diode (LED) light source, charge coupled device (CCD) detector
•    For example, Howtek MultiRAD 460
    Please quote specifications for computer requirements for the film digitizer

•    Measurements with ion-chamber:
o    Capintec Electrometer 192X Muli-range digital exposure
o    Capintec Farmer Chamber PR-06C
    Ionization chamber with 0.6 cc sensitive volume
o    Exradin 0.056 cc slim line mini-Shonka chamber
    Ionization chamber 0.056 cc sensitive volume
o    Cables and adaptors
    PMC-20 low noise connecting cable, 20 feet
    PMC-20E extension cable, 20 feet
    Adapter cable with BNC to TNE connectors
    Adapter connector with BNC to TNE connectors
    Cable reel (50 ft cable capacity)
Optional Extras:-
•    Radiation survey meter (ionization chamber based), similar or equivalent to Victoreen 470A.
