II.1.5) Short description of the contract or purchase(s): contract
comprises the conservation of acetate film material. The film material in
this Tender contains two of Dutch TV-history’s most valuable
sub-collections, namely NOS-Journaal (news broadcast) and TV-Programma.
Both collections have a high historical value since they commemorate and
illustrate the first 15 years of the new medium (television). The contract
involves the conservation of historical film recordings on 16-mm
black-and-white film, documenting television film material from 1952 up to
and including 1967/68. For more information see the Tender Specification

II.2.1) Total quantity or scope: The total size of the order comprises
roughly 2 300 hours of film material, made up of the sub- collections
NOS-Journaal and TV-programma. The minimum amount of purchase encompasses
2 x 960 hours. In the case of extension of the contract, new agreements
will be made on the further purchase of copied material.

months: 60 (from the award of the contract).

out the contract for the whole length, including possible extent, of the
contract. a) a healthy financial and economic standing of his enterprise,
guaranteeing continuity of his services for the duration of the contract
and during any possible extended period. b) to have an overall turnover
that exceeds 1 million Euro per year during the last three fiscal years
(not averaged). c) to have a Current Ratio (Equity / Total Capital) of 0.2
or more and a ratio (Current Assets / Short-term Borrowing) of 1.0 or more
the last three financial years. d) the ability to provide a bank statement
(dating back three months at most), stating sufficient financial and
economic standing for the execution of the project.

Document. Tenderer must have the technical capacity to perform the tasks
involved in this Tender as described in the Tender Specifications and in
the context of cultural value and historical heritage of the material.
Especially: - The staff involved having knowledge of different techniques
and at least 3 years of experience in the field of conservation and
restoration. - The staff performing the ‘grading’ having at least 3 years
experience in the sight grading of historical film material from archives
and in working with grading machines such as the Hazetine.
