Sealed tenders for Thane Sewerage Project under JNNURM (Mumbra Package) are invited by Thane Municipal Corporation, from the reputed contractors who are registered with PWD/CPWD/CIDCO/MJP / other Govt. / semi Govt. / Public Sector Undertaking in appropriate class and meeting experience criteria as given in detailed tender notice. The Blank Tender forms can be had from the Citizen Facilitation Centre (CFC), Ground floor, Thane Municipal Corporation, Dr. Almeda Road, Panchpakhadi, Thane (W) 400 602 on payment of Non refundable tender form cost in cash / DD from 3.7.08 to 28.7.08 (on working days) between 11.00 to 16.00 hrs, or, the blank tender forms can be down loaded from web site www.thanemahapalika.com. Sealed tenders will be received in Citizen Facilitation Centre or at Office of Municipal Commissioner, Thane Municipal Corporation Dr. Almeda Road, Panchpakhadi, Thane (W) 400 602 on working days up to 18.8.08 up to 16.00 hrs and will be opened on the same day if possible in front of contractors or their representatives.
It is mandatory for bidders to quote for the entire package i.e. both for Part A and Part B Note: 1. The detailed tender notice is displayed on the notice board at City engineer’s office and can be obtained free of cost if required by way of written request or can be downloaded from our web site www.thanemahapalika.com 2. The bidder must satisfy following criteria otherwise envelope No. 2 & 3 will not be opened. A. Bid is open to Indian commercial entities registered in government or semi government organization, authorized to bid for unlimited amount of contracts and carrying out works of sewage treatment plants, sewage pumping stations, water treatment plants, water supply and sewerage works. B. Joint venture (JV) participation is permitted provided number of partners in the joint venture shall not exceed three and minimum participation of one of the partners shall not be less than 20 %. All partners of the Joint Venture shall meet the pre qualification criteria jointly except that all partners should be registered in Govt. /Semigovt. organization in class asked for on the day of submission of the application. JV can be made with technology providers in that case registration is not mandatory for technology provider. Members of JV will be jointly and severally responsible for performance of contract. Once formed and qualified, the partners of joint venture cannot be changed until the tenure of the contract. A company can participate only in one joint venture. Further, a company participating in joint venture cannot submit separate application in its own name for qualification. Payment under contract shall be made in the name of joint venture only if JV is accepted by TMC.
C. The applicant has successfully constructed and commissioned during past seven years i.e. after June 2001, minimum 1 No. 10 MLD average capacity sewage/water pumping station including civil works, rising main, electrical and mechanical installations in single installation, which should be in successful operation at least for one year as on date of receipt of tender document.
K. The applicant has Professional Tax Certificates for the last three financial years ending March 2008. L. Applicant will need to produce originals of their all-supporting enclosure for verification by TMC if required. Failure to comply with this requirement may result in the disqualification of the applicant without any reason. 3. The tender document can be downloaded from the web site also. The applicant has to ensure that all papers are completely downloaded. In this case tenderer has to submit the price of blank tender document through separate DD (DD in favour of Commissioner, Thane Municipal Corporation, Thane) in Envelope I while submission of tender. However successful contractor must sign original tender document. 4. If tenderer desires to submit his sealed tender through R.P.A.D., it will be his responsibility to ensure that his sealed tender will reach Thane Municipal Corporation, Thane, within stipulated time period. Thane Municipal Corporation will not be responsible for any postal delay in submission of sealed tender form through post. 5. Pre Bid meeting will be held in the office of City Engineer, 3rd floor, Dr. Almeda Road, Panchpakhadi, Thane Municipal Corporation, Thane on 28.7.08 at 16.30 hrs. 6. Validity period will be 180 days from the date of opening of the tender. 7. The Commissioner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders in full or part without assigning any reason whatsoever and his decision shall be final and biding. No bidder shall have any claim arising out such action.
