The Chairman, Procurement Committee, Southern Province Education Ministry's Office, Gall will receive sealed bids till 10.00 a.m. on 22-07-2008 for the following items of work. The bids will be opened at 10.30 a.m. on the same day at the same office in the presence of bidders or t lair authorized representatives the bidding documents can be obtained from the relevant District Engineer's Office, up to 2.30 p.m. on 21.07.2008.
The Contractors who are registered with the Institute of Construction Training and Development in the field of Building construction and the Contractors registered in Southern Provincial Council are eligible to obtain bidding documents by producing their registration books. The Contractors having registration over M9 should have membership of Sri Lanka Construction Association.
For the works below Rupees Ten Million, the bid documents will be issued to the contractors who are residing within the Southern Province.
Further particulars regarding above bids can be obtained from the relevant District Engineer's Offices during normal office hours on weekdays.
The work bidder for should be clearly written on the top left-hand corner of the envelope enclosing the bid. All incomplete bids will be rejected and their bid deposits will be forfeited.
