Quotations are invited for the supply and delivery of FOUR (4) LATEST MODEL CONVENTIONAL LOW PROFILE TRUCK CHASSIS AND EXTENDED CAB, 22,000 LB. (9,979 KG) GVWR MINIMUM, DUAL REAR WHEELS COMPLETE WITH 9 FT. DUMP BODY AND CHIPPER ENCLOSURE for Fleet Services all in accordance with Specification 082R-61FL, the attached Price Schedule and the City of Toronto Fair Wage Policy and Labour Trades Contractual Obligations in the Construction Industry.

Scope of work:
The Scope of Work includes but is not limited to the following.

Award

It is the intent of the City of Toronto to award a Contract/Purchase Order to one vendor for Price Schedule A being the lowest bidder meeting specifications for four (4) latest model conventional low profile truck chassis and extended cab, 22,000 LB. ( 9,979 KG) GVWR Minimum, dual rear wheels complete with 9 ft. dump body and chipper enclosure for Fleet Services all in accordance with Specification 082R-61FL.

The City, at its sole discretion may award additional units as required during the current model year based on prices provided in the additional requirements price schedule.

Upon award, a Contract/Purchase Order shall be issued to the Successful Bidder. Such Contract/Purchase Order shall incorporate or be deemed to incorporate the Contract Terms and all other provisions contained in the RFQ.

Price Schedule

Unit price for the supply and delivery of the undernoted latest model conventional low profile truck chassis and extended cab, 22,000 LB. ( 9,979 KG) GVWR Minimum, dual rear wheels complete with 9 ft. dump body and chipper enclosure for Fleet Services all in accordance with Specification 082R-61FL delivered, including options as specified, including three (3) complete sets of ignition and door lock keys per vehicle, including Federal Excise Tax for A/C, including rust proofing, including all applicable charges and excluding all other Taxes:

Response Requirements

Any Quotation received after the deadline will not be considered.

All blank spaces where prices have been requested must be legibly and properly filled in or the Quotation Request may be rejected as informal.

Bidders are asked to submit one (1) additional copy of their Quotation Response with Quotation documents.

Pertinent Specifications:

Frame: Chassis frame RBM917,600 in-lb minimum, to be sufficient for G.V.W.R., dump body, chipper enclosure and options as specified.

Engine: Electronically controlled diesel engine, displacement 5.9L minimum, 200 hp minimum.

Transmission: Allison 2500 automatic transmission with engine driven PTO provision, with combination PTO and pump.
