Quotations are invited for the supply and delivery of TEN (10) LATEST MODEL INTERNATIONAL DURASTAR 4300 OR APPROVED EQUIVALENT TRUCK CHASSIS AND THREE-PERSON CAB, 35,000 LB. (15,786 KG) GVWR, WITH A 12 FT. DUMP BODY, CHIPPER ENCLOSURE AND DUAL REAR WHEELS for Fleet Services, all in accordance with Specification 084F-61FL, the attached Price Schedule and the City of Toronto Fair Wage Policy and Labour Trades Contractual Obligations in the Construction Industry.

Scope of work:
The Scope of Work includes but is not limited to the following.

Award

It is the intent of the City of Toronto to award a Contract/Purchase Order to one vendor for Price Schedule A being the lowest bidder meeting specifications for ten (10) latest model International Durastar 4300 or approved equivalent truck chassis and three-person cab, 35,000 LB. (15,786 kg) GVWR, with a 12 ft. dump body, chipper enclosure and dual rear wheels for Fleet Services, all in accordance with Specification 084F-61FL.

The City, at its sole discretion may award additional units as required during the current model year based on prices provided in the additional requirements price schedule.

Upon award, a Contract/Purchase Order shall be issued to the Successful Bidder. Such Contract/Purchase Order shall incorporate or be deemed to incorporate the Contract Terms and all other provisions contained in the RFQ.

Unit price for the supply and delivery of the undernoted latest model International Durastar 4300 or approved equivalent truck chassis and three-person cab, 35,000 LB. (15,786 kg) GVWR, with a 12 ft. dump body, chipper enclosure and dual rear wheels for Fleet Services, all in accordance with Specification 084F-61FL delivered, including options as specified, including three (3) complete sets of ignition, door lock and cabinet lock keys per vehicle, including Federal Excise Tax for A/C, including rust proofing, including all applicable charges and excluding all other Taxes:

Response Requirements

Any Quotation received after the deadline will not be considered.

All blank spaces where prices have been requested must be legibly and properly filled in or the Quotation Request may be rejected as informal.

Bidders are asked to submit one (1) additional copy of their Quotation Response with Quotation documents.

Other pertinent info

Vehicle offered must pass City of Toronto ergonomic assessment for a three-person cab.

Frame: chassis frame RBM 2,500,000 in-lb minimum, to be sufficient for GVWR dump body, chipper enclosure and options specified

Engine: Electronically controlled diesel engine, displacement 7.0 L minimum

Transmission: Allison automatic 3500 RDS series with torque converter drive PTO provision
