Group Insurance Benefits Provider

The Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) wishes to enter into a contract with a vendor(s) (hereafter referred to as the “proponent(s)”) for the purpose of providing insurance coverage for CMHC’s Group Insurance Benefits Plan.

CMHC has more than 2,000 employees located at its National Office in Ottawa, and at various Business Service Centers throughout Canada. The Corporation is seeking a proponent able to provide the insurance plans and coverage necessary for the provision of group insurance plans for all active and retired employees and their families.

Suppliers wishing to participate in this Request For Proposal (RFP) process will be required to sign and return a “Confidentiality Agreement”. The “Confidentiality Agreement” with authorized signature must be received by the inquiry person as listed in the RFP in advance of receiving sensitive portions of the full RFP package.

Proposals must be received at the exact location as specified in the RFP document on or before the submission deadline of 2:00 p.m. local Ottawa time, on August 6, 2008.
