II.1.5) Short description of the contract or purchase(s): Wiltshire
Primary Care Trust (PCT) and Bath and North East Somerset PCT are seeking
expressions of interest from organisations/consortia to provide specialist
child and adolescent mental health services for their catchments'
population. The emotional health and well-being of children and young
people is a high priority for the PCTs and other stakeholders within the
area. The PCTs are looking to procure services from a suitable provider(s)
capable of delivering improvements in quality, value for money and most
importantly, health outcomes across the community. The PCTs are in
discussion with a neighbouring PCT which may result in the scope of this
procurement being expanded in the future to other NHS organisations within
the South West.
The PCTs are looking for high quality providers to develop innovative,
affordable models of care for our local children and young people, through
a competitive dialogue process. To be consider for the formal procurement
process for child and adolescent mental health services, you must be able
to demonstrate an effective track record of delivery.

INFORMATION ABOUT LOTS
TITLE: Provision of child community health services
1) SHORT DESCRIPTION: Wiltshire Primary Care Trust (PCT) and Bath and
North East Somerset PCT are seeking expressions of interest from

Subject to further discussion a neighbouring PCT and/or Councils may
decide to participate. II.2.1.) The range quoted reflects the possibility
of additional contracting parties and the need to determine the exact
scope of the procurement, which will be informed through the competitive
dialogue process. II.3) A possible option to extend contract for 2 years

Information will be issued to those operators that have expressed an
interest by the date specified in IV.3.4. IV.1.2) A minimum of 4 operators
is envisaged.
