The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) in collaboration with the Government of Sri Lanka's Ministry of Education and Ministry of Healthcare and Nutrition is planning to undertake the reconstruction of 11 schools and the refurbishment of four health facilities located in the Southern and Eastern provinces of Sri Lanka. To that aim, UNICEF is inviting well established building contractors to express their interest to be short listed for tender.
Applicants must be registered with ICTAD as follows: - 1) for the Eastern Province: grade M4 and above, 2) for the Southern Province: grade M3 and above.
Pre qualification documents can be collected during normal working hours from the UNICEF office 5, Githanjali Place, Colombo 3, from 30 June 2008 to 7 July 2008.
All companies interested must return duly filled up pre-qualification documents in a sealed envelope to the attention of UNICEF Supply Officer on or before 8 July 2008 by 3 pm local time Expression of I merest received after the above mentioned deadline will not be considered.
