1) The Chairman, Department Procurement Committee on behalf of the Sri Lanka Ports Authority now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the items given below.
2) The eligible bidders should have been in the business of Supplying similar Goods given above at least during the last three (3) years.
3) Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Chief Manager (Suppliers & Material Management) and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below during office hours.
4) A complete set of bidding documents in English language may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non refundable fee of Rs.500/-+ VAT, from 3rd July, 2008 during 9.00a.m. to 3.00p.m. on working days, up to day prior to the closing date. The method of payment will be cash.
5) Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before closing time. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend in person or on line at the address below at closing time. All bids must be accompanied by amount of above mentioned Bid Guarantee.
