The Sardar Sarovar Project (SSP) is inter state, multipurpose, major project on river
Narmada in Gujarat State, India being execute by Sardar Sarovar Narmada Nigam Limited (SSNNL). The Project envisages the construction of concrete dam, power house, and world’s largest main canal having capacity 1133 cumecs and branches and
distribution system to serve 18 lacs hectare command area.
