The Chairman of the Department Procurement Committee on behalf of the Department of Government Information now invites sealed bids from the Manufacturers, Principals or 'their sole nominated representatives and accredited agents to purchase and hire the equipment mentioned below for the media centres of 16th SAARC summit which will be held in Colombo from 27th, July of 2008 to 03rd August of 2008.
The hiring equipment should be supplied by the bidder for ten days. The locations where the equipment shall be installed will be informed late to the bidder.
Application forms for the Bid - 2.1) Bids should be submitted in prescribed forms obtainable from the Director of Government Information, Department of Government Information, No. 163, Kirulapone Avenue, Colombo 05.
2.2) All Bidding documents should be received by the Director of Government information till 14.00 hours on 14th of July 2008 together with non¬refundable Bid fee of Rs. 100.00 on any working day during office hours.
Submitting of Bids - Bids shall be sent by registered post addressed to the Director of Government Information, Department of Government Information, 163, Kirulapone Avenue, Colombo 05 or placed in the Bid Box which shall be kept in the office of the Administrative Officer, Department of Government Information at the above mentioned address.
Closing and Opening of the Bid - Bids will be closed at 10.00 hours on 15th of July 2008 and will be opened immediately thereafter at the office of the Administrative Officer, Department of Government Information.
