This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for supplies in which the government intends to acquire in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisitions Procedures. Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Marine Fisheries Service located in Seattle, WA has a requirement for quantity of twenty (20) each Qiagen DNA extraction Kits, Catalog #69582 for delivery to NOAA NMFS Facility in Seattle, WA no later than July 30, 2008. Qiagen DNeasy extraction kits are required to maintain the high quality of extracted DNA that were required for the research, these kits are auxiliary items for equipment already in-house. NMFS has a Qiagen Bio Robot which especially designed to automate DNA extraction using Qiagen D'Neasy extraction kits.  The government intends to negotiate a firm-fixed price contract.
