The work to be performed includes, but not limited to, the following:
Provide pole and underground electric work converting distribution systems from 2.4 KV to 13.8KV. This will involve the installation of new poles, pole hardware, insulators, crossarms, pole-mounted transformers, arrestors, guys, fused cutouts, pad mounted switches, pad mounted transformers, underground duct banks, and switchboards. The solicitaion will include a base bid and options. The rough order of magnitude for this proposed procurement is between $1,000,000 and $2,500,000. This procurement is unrestricted in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, NAICS code 238210/13.0M. The solicitation, plans and specifications will be available on or about 31 July 2008. The solicitation and specification will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. The solicitation and specification will also be available for download by accessing the following address via the World Wide Web: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/IM/solicitation_index.htm CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments that may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal non-responsive and result in the rejection of the same.
