Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest, Wild Rose Day Use. The Okanogan � Wenatchee National Forest located in Central Washington State has a requirement for reconstruction of roadway and parking lot at the Wild Rose Day Use area on the Naches Ranger District. The project is located in Yakima County, Washington State. The project is approximately 20 miles west of Naches, WA on US 12. The Contractor shall furnish all management, labor, equipment, supervision, tools, materials, transportation, operating supplies, supervision, workman�s compensation, unemployment insurance and incidentals necessary to perform the work in accordance with the specification and provisions of the contract. The project consists of, but not limited to, grading of roadway and parking lot of subgrade for crushed aggregate and hot mix asphalt paving. The work also includes: placing of aggregate and hot mix asphalt for trail surfacing; and constructing of a masonry rock sign base and gate structure. Work is estimated to begin in September 2008 with a completion date of 30 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. Both payment and performance bonds will be required. Magnitude of construction is between $100,000 and $250,000. This project will be advertised as a written request for proposals. Estimated issue date of the solicitation is on or about July 21 2008. Proposals are estimated to be due August 20, 2008. The actual due date will be listed in the solicitation. This acquisition is set aside for Hubzone Certified Small Business Concerns. NAICS code is 237990, size standard is $31.0 million. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered. An electronic copy of the solicitation will be posted at this site on the issue date.
