1) The Registrar on behalf of the Departmental Procurement Committee will receive sealed Bids for Renovations to the English Unit Building at University of Sri Jayewardenepura and receiving will be closed at 1430 hrs of 22nd July 2008. Bids should be submitted on the form available from the Assistant Registrar, Planning and Capital Works - University of Sri Jayewardenepura up to 1430 hrs of 18th July 2008 on a payment of non-refundable tender fee of Rupees 500/=
2) Bidding documents may be inspected free of charge at the office of the Assistant Registrar, Planning and Capital Works - University of Sri Jayewardenepura
3) All Bidders shall be registered with the Institute for Construction Training and Development (ICTAD), under the grade and spatiaiity given below and shall hold a valid membership of the National Construction Association for Sri Lanka (NCASL), ICTAD Registration Required: Specialty: Building Construction Gja.de ; M-7 or C-8
4) Bids shall be valid up to ! 21st October 2008
5) Bids must be accompanied by security of Rupees: 35,000/-
6) Bid Security shall be valid up to; 18th November 2008
7) Deadline for submission of bids shall be: 22nd July 2008
8) Sealed Bids may be dispatched either by registered post or hand delivered to the Assistant Registrar, Planning and Capital Works - University of Sri Jayewardenepura to receive before closing time.
9) Bids will be opened immediately after the closing at the above address.
10) Bidders or their authorized representatives are requested to be present at the opening of Bids.
