The Executive Engineer, Andaman Central Division, Central Public Works Department, Port Blair, on behalf of the President of the President of India, invites Tender Application from specialized firms of repute for the following work 2. Specialised firms having established workshop with all required machinery who fulfill the following requirements shall be eligible to apply for the tender document. Joint ventures are not accepted. 2.1 Should have had average annual financial turn over of Rs. 10.00 Crores on steel fabrication works during last 3 years ending 31.03.2007 and to be submitted along with the tender application. 2.2 Should not have incurred any loss in more than two years during last five years ending 31.03.2007. 3. Desirous contractors should apply to purchase tender schedule from the Executive Engineer, Andaman Central Division, Central Public Works Department, E-5/2, GPRA, Lamba Line, Port Blair Ph: - 03192-241906 on request in writing along with EMD and the cost of tender documents in cash ( Rs. 1500 + ST) upto 3.30 PM on 09.07.2008. Earnest money should be deposited along with application seeking issue of tender document in the form of receipted treasury challan / deposit at call receipt of a schedule bank / fixed deposit receipt of the Schedule bank / demand draft of scheduled bank issued in favour of the Executive Engineer, Andaman Central Division, Central Public Works Department, Port Blair. 50% of the earnest money can be accepted in the form of Bank Guarantee issued by a Scheduled Bank. Tenders documents to eligible contractors will be issued on 14.07.2008. 4. A Pre Bid conference will be held in the office of the Project Manager ( TRP), Central Public Works Department, E-5/1, GPRA, Lamba Line, Port Blair ( Ph:- 03192-243366) at 4.00 PM on 16.07.2008. 5. Tenders should be placed in sealed envelope, with the name of work and due date written on the envelopes, will be received by the EE/ ACD/ CPWD/ Port Blair upto 03.00 PM on 18.07.2008 and will be opened by him or his authorized representative in his office on the same day at 03.30 P.M. 6. If any information furnished by the applicant found incorrect at a later stage, he shall be liable to debar from tendering / taking up work in CPWD. The Department reserves the right to verify the particulars furnished by the applicant independently. 7. The department reserves the right to reject any application without assigning any reasons and to restrict the no. of post - qualified contractors as deemed suitable.
