This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

This is a request for quotes to repair a Manitowoc Model 2250, Series 3 Crawler Crane, SN 2251178. Replace failed drum drive hydraulic system to include: 1 each hydraulic 250cc drum drive motor, part #A00170; 2 each main hoist hydraulic pumps, part #A00173; 1 each directional control valve, part #702995; and all miscellaneous filters, diffusers and fluids; replace and dispose of all used hydraulic fluids; clean the hydraulic tank, and inside all hoses and lines per Manitowoc's Service Bulletin W07-009. Crane is on land.

It is anticipated that a firm-fixed price contract will be awarded to a single contractor. If during repairs, a need for additional parts/work is identified, a modification to the contract will be negotiated. Quoted prices should include costs for all items listed above. Quotes must be received no later than 6 p.m. EST on Monday July 7, 2008.
