The Government intends to issue a Sole Source contract, in accordance withFAR 6.302-1 to Versant Corporation (Versant), located at 255 Shoreline Drive Suite 450, Redwood City, CA 94065 for the procurement of the following items produced by Versant: Runtime License FO (New):FastObject by Versant Runtime License with Replication, Solaris, 1 CPU, Single Core, Version 8, three (3) each Runtime License FO (New): FastObject by Versant Runtime License with Replication, Solaris, 1 CPU, Single Core, Version 10, six (6) each Runtime License FO (Upgrade): FastObject byVersant Runtime License with Replication. Solaris, 1 CPU, Single Core, Version 10 Upgrade from Solaris 8 to Solaris 10 on Intel, fifteen (15) each New software licenses and upgrade software licenses for FastObject Runtime by Versant to be run on SUN Solaris 8 and SUN Solaris 10 CPUs. The software must be specific make and model to be compatible with the existing proprietary software features. The Government anticipates award of a Firm Fixed Price contract under the Commercial Item Procedures, FAR Part 13.5. The NAICS Code is 541511 and the applicable size standard is $23,000,000.00. NO SOLICITATION WILL BE MADE AVAILABLE AS A RESULT OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.
