The Naval Surface Warfare Center - Panama City, Panama City, Florida intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Creative Display Systems, 5909 Sea Lion Place, Suite A, Carlsbad, CA 92010 for the acquisition of one (1) I-Port Ex monocular display system with control unit (left eye configuration), one (1) I-port Ex monocular display system with control unit (right eye configuration), one (1) I-port universal monocular display system with control unit (left eye configuration), and one (1) I-port universal monocular display system with control unit (right eye configuration). These items being procured are in support of a rapid technology development program. After conducting market research and preliminary testing, these particular items were chosen to meet unique design specifications, and ensure hardware compatibility. Creative Display Systems is the only source for these components currently authorized by the Program Sponsor for use in the project.
