SECTION II: OBJECT OF THE CONTRACT
II.1) DESCRIPTION
II.1.1) Title attributed to the contract by the contracting authority:
Tender for the Provision of Catering Services.
II.1.2) Type of contract and location of works, place of delivery or of
performance: Services.

Main place of performance: UK-Surrey.
II.1.5) Short description of the contract or purchase(s): The Surrey
Police Authority (the Authority) is seeking expressions of interest for
the Provision of Catering Services. The Authority has a number of canteens
throughout Surrey in the following locations: - Guildford Mount Browne
(main site), Guildford Police Station, Epsom Police Station, Staines
Police Station, Caterham Police Station, Reigate Police Station, Farnham
Police Station, Camberley Police Station, Woking Police Station.
The current catering arrangement has a turnover of approximately 900 000
GBP p.a.
Please note that TUPE 2006 Regulations are likely to apply to the
resulting contract.
The authority reserves the right to accept a proportion of any tender
(unless the Tenderer expressly stipulates otherwise in the tender).

Description of these options: This contract is for an initial term of 5
years, with the option to extend for an additional 2 years in 12-month
increments at the Authority's discretion, making the total potential
contract term 7 years.
II.3) DURATION OF THE CONTRACT OR TIME-LIMIT FOR COMPLETION: Starting:
1.4.2009. Completion: 31.3.2016.
