Quotations are invited from suppliers for supply of following Essential Food Items to the Ministry for direct delivery to Vavuniya by highway or through good shed (Railway Wagon) of Railway Department in Colombo for supplies to Vanni Districts and delivery to Vessel in Colombo Port for supplies to Jaffna District.
Those interested are requested to collect the Tender Documents from the Director Essential Services office premises at 1st Floor No. 189, Galte Road, Colombo 03, on or before 14.07.2008 by paying a non-refundable fee of Rs. 250/= for each item for Vanni and Rs. 250/= for each item for Jaffna. Completed Quotations should be lodged in the Tender Box placed at Director, Essential Services office same address or sent by registered post to reach Director Essential Services office at or before 3.00 p.m. on 14.07.2008. In considering the offer preference will be given to the Tenderer who quote for the entire quantity in respect of each food item as shown above.
Tenders will be opened immediately after the closing at 3.00 p.m. on 14.07.2008.
Tenderers or their authorized representatives can attend the Bid Opening.
