All prospective tenderers should produce their VAT Registration Number, in order to pay value added tax, at the time of obtaining goods on sale.
Detail list of items offered for sale and other particulars may be obtained from the Customs Central Sales Unit after paying Rs. 25/=, from 03rd July 2008 till 3.30 p.m on 11th July 2008 during office hours.
All the above items could be inspected on 03rd, 04th, 07th, 08th, 09th, 10th and 11th Jully, 2008 between 10.00 a.m. and 3.30 p.m.
Tender forms could be obtained between 10.30 a.m. and 03.30 p.m. from 07th July 2008 to 11th July 2008.
Tender box will be closed at 10.00 a.m. on 12th July 2008 and the Tenders will be opened at the same time.
Items in the sale list are categorised into (5) different Groups called A, B, C D & E according to the value and the refundable deposit required for each category to participate in the sale are as follows:- Group'A' - Rs. 5,000/=, Group'B'- Rs. 10,000/=
Group 'C' - Rs. 25,000/=, Group'D' - Rs. 50,000/=, Group 'E' - Rs. 100,000/=
Bids for each item should be submitted in original forms. These bid forms could be obtained on payment of a non refundable fee of Rs. 300/=.
Decisions of the Tender Board shall be final and all the prospective tenderers should abide by the conditions laid down in the tender documents.
